Nintendo Switch 2 Black Friday deals live — I’m tracking all the biggest discounts on games and accessories right now

Explore some original Switch games
While there are some banger Switch 2 original games available now, there is an entire library of titles made for the original Switch, some of which are on sale for Black Friday at Amazon.
There are more but I’ve picked 5 that you might want to check out.
These include the fun Luigi’s Mansion 3, the nearly perfect Mario + Rabbids strategy games and the Super Mario RPG remake.
Return to the underworld
This one isn’t exactly a deal, as Hades 2 isn’t on sale, but with Switch 2 game prices hitting $70 or more, this game of the year contender only costing $50 is practically a steal.
The sequel dials up the rogue-lite formula of the original as you take on a quest to defeat Chronos, the titan of time. This time, you play as Melinoë, Princess of the Underworld. Each run gets you new abilities and more unlocks. And much like the first Hades, your first successful run is only the beginning. There are hours and hours of gameplay here that more than justify the price.
Protect your Switch 2
Whether you’re buying a Switch 2 for yourself or a loved one, you’re going to want some protection for this expensive console.
Fortunately, there are some deals on cases and screen protectors. Here are two you should consider.
First, the OneTouch Screen Protector is only $7 for Black Friday at Amazon. It comes with clear instruction guides plus two protectors in case you do mess up one of them.
There’s also the tomtoc Switch 2 Slim Carry Case when you’re taking the handheld on the road. This case is slim fitting but should protect your Switch 2.
Where to buy a Switch 2 or Switch
Deals are picking up steam everywhere and it’s important to compare prices across retailers.
If you’re looking for a Switch 2 or an original Switch you have plenty of options to choose from.
Here’s where you can buy one now:
Nintendo’s official Black Friday 2025 sale is now live, and we’re seeing retailers across the board slashing prices on the best Switch 2 games, accessories, and more. I planned on waiting until Black Friday was here to really dive in, but some of these deals are so good that it might convince me to pull the trigger early. What about y’all?

Alyse Stanley
I’m Alyse, and I cover everything thing related to streaming, gaming, and tech here at Digitpatrox. I learned how to read playing Pokémon games (and still argue that Squirtle is the GOAT), so Nintendo consoles will always have a special place in my heart. That’s why I’m rounding up all the best Switch 2 deals this Black Friday so you don’t have to!
Save 50% off this beloved Donkey Kong remake
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD gives this beloved classic an impressive overhaul, with crisp HD visuals and the bonus levels from the Nintendo 3DS version. You’ll barrel through 80 action-packed stages, either solo or with a friend in local co-op, to stomp enemies, ride mine carts, soar on rocket barrels, and charge through obstacles on Rami the Rhino. Because this is a Donkey Kong game, after all. Technically, this is a Switch game, not Switch 2. But with Target slashing 50% off ahead of Black Friday, I just had to shout out this deal.
A mouthful of a Switch 2 deal
Howdy! I’m Alyse, Digitpatrox’s weekend editor taking over for Rory. I just got a Switch 2 for my birthday last week for one game and one game only: Kirby Air Riders 2. I was obsessed with the GameCube version growing up, and I’m super excited to dive back into City Trial and wreak havoc on any of my friends who dare try to collect all the pieces of a legendary vehicle. Since the game just came out, we’re not likely to see any deals for it this Black Friday. But you can get $10 off another superb entry in the series at Walmart right now: Kirby and the Forgotten Land. I really enjoyed my time beating it on Switch, but if you didn’t play it the first time around, this version comes optimized for the Switch 2 with faster frame rates, higher resolution, and an additional story line.
A Switch 2 deal for my fellow soccer fans
While I’m on the subject of playing sports games on the go, the Switch 2 version of EA Sports FC 26 is also on sale for $29 at Amazon. That’s a 57% discount. When I reviewed the PS5 port of the latest soccer sim, I did have some issues with the increasingly stale modes, but on pitch, FC 26 is still the best digital recreation of the biggest sport in the world. Being able to play a quick game on Switch 2 is a treat.
Take Madden anywhere for just $29
The novelty of having a sports game on the go via the Nintendo Switch and its successor still hasn’t worn off for me. I’m very much a soccer guy, but I know that Madden is the true king (at least in the U.S.). And the good news is that Madden NFL 26 is on sale for $29, which is almost $60 off its full retail price of $59. This is a feature-complete version of the latest Madden game that you can take anywhere.
Sonic’s latest adventure is 50% off at Amazon
If you’re looking to pick up something to play on your Switch 2 that is still high-quality, but as budget-friendly as possible, Sonic X Shadow Generation is $24. That’s a 50% discount off its MSRP. This remaster of Sonic Generations offers the full original game – looking better than ever – alongside a new Shadow-focused chapter where you play as the fan-favorite anti-hero. It’s a must-play for fans of fast-paced platforming and seriously good soundtracks.
The best Switch 2 controller deal right now
If you need an extra controller for your Switch 2, perhaps to play some multiplayer Mario Kart or Split Fiction, this PDP Afterglow Wave is on sale for $49, which is $10 off. It’s an officially licensed accessory that replicates the popular Switch 2 Pro controller, but at a cheaper price point. Plus, its RGB lights look very snazzy.
Nintendo’s own Black Friday sale is LIVE
While retailers like Amazon and Walmart are offering big discounts on all things Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2), the Big-N itself is also running its own Cyber Deals sale. This is your chance to save big on dozens of digital games, all playable on Nintendo Switch 2. Prices start from just $3, and include popular games like Splatoon 3, Hogwarts Legacy, Split Fiction, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and many more.
Switch 2’s biggest game is $10 off for Black Friday
If you didn’t pick up the Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle at launch, and want to circle back to scoop up Mario’s latest racing title, Mario Kart World is now $10 discounted at Woot (which is an Amazon company). Even at $70, it’s pretty pricey for just a single video game, but Nintendo isn’t known for discounting its biggest games, and so that makes this $10 off deal quite a big deal. Plus, you just know you’re going to want a copy of Mario Kart for friendly competition with your family over the holidays.
No Switch 2 restock nightmare this holiday season
Cast your mind back to November 2020, and it was virtually impossible to find a PS5 or Xbox Series X in stock. Even the following year, in 2021, it was just as tricky. Fortunately, Switch 2 hasn’t suffered from the same shortages. Picking up a console for the holiday is as easy as heading over to your retailer of choice and making your purchase. As noted, the Switch 2 bundles are my personal recommendation, but if you just want the console standalone, Switch 2 is in stock for $499 at Amazon
One of the best Switch 2 port yet is $20 off
Star Wars Outlaws was a pleasant little surprise last year, and now this galaxy-spanning adventure is on the Nintendo Switch 2. And even better, it’s one of the console’s best blockbuster ports, looking and running very well on Nintendo’s portable machine. It’s a Black Friday deal that convinced me to click the “buy now” button, and I’m looking forward to diving into an open-world Star Wars adventure on my holiday travels. Star Wars Outlaws is currently on sale for $39 at Amazon.
Switch 2 bundles are your best bet
If you’re in the market for a Nintendo Switch 2 console, either for yourself or for holiday gifting, the best deal right now is either the Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle or the Switch 2 Pokémon Legends Z-A Bundle. Both cost $499 and include the Nintendo Switch 2 console and a flagship game. The former saves you $30 compared to buying separately, and the latter is a $20 discount. That’s a pretty solid saving, and you get the in-demand console, alongside an essential new game.
